It's worth to add that the majority of the posts here apparently fail to distinguish between ADHD and ADD. For the most part, people diagnosed with AD(H)D are typically hyperactive, in constant motion, abnormally speedy, cannot sit still and focus on the task at hand, and have grown a habit of being distracted by the most trivial subject there is -- especially if the task at hand does not trigger their interest in the slightest. With that focusing traits become increasingly difficult.
However, ADD is a totally different beast. Individuals of that condition are of the "inattentive" type. Most common symptoms are forgetfulness, mind fatigue, difficulty to put thoughts into words, very slow to comprehend information, anxiety/depression, paying attention feels like a chore. These symptoms, if are on the severe end of the spectrum, could become immensely debilitating and interfere with everyday's life.
I find it ironic that the majority here claim they have ADD based on a random test, or a few difficulties in concentration; I call this the grand power of placebo, might as well be a very mild ADD at most, otherwise it's nearly impossible to have a successful career, or acquire a university degree.
I digress, being hyperfocus all the time is no fun, and that's the premise of medication that usually alleviate the symptoms of ADD and ADHD. They put one in that state of mind. Have any one heard of Adderall or Methamphetamine? Well, these are controlled substances, prescribed in the US only, very powerful stuff, give a brain and body euphoria, are of the very addictive and mind-wrecking nature that have the potential of forever damaging ones brain with prolonged use/abuse. However they can be helpful for folks with severe ADD symptoms, or kids who find it impossible to make it past elementary school
arithma wroteMy ADHD symptoms are most probably cluster-headache and constant neck-back-eye pain side effects anyway.
This exactly is what I been having for a long time now, it's probably nothing more than a sinus infection, otherwise called
"Sinusitis". Very annoying I must say, whenever I have it I become VERY zoned out, my vision weakens, and most of all my head hurts like fuck. Actually I have it right now, it happens very sporadically. The only thing that temporarily fixed that was having some decongestant, you should find any of those from your local pharmacy.
