Raficoo
Greetings, first of all I wanna state that I'm using Ogero's DSL (since 2007), so here's the problem: recently some websites that I try to open are opening really slowly, to the point that some contents of the page load up but the page itself is always trying to open(spinning indicator on Firefox/Chrome, etc..), Now at first I thought it might be a connection problem on my side, however I have been many speed tests, ping tests and in the end the conclusion is that my connection is fine and stable, one extra thing I did was that I used TOR to test the website I'm trying to open and it opens up fast and normal, compared to slow and never ending on my normal connection, this has been going on for a few days now, and I can't be sure what's causing this problem, tried using my older modem and it's the same problem.
This can be of a nuisance if you open up some of your needed websites daily, to put it straight my dad trades on Easy forex and while at some parts of the day the site opens up fast, many other times it's very slow and just loads up some parts of the page, and at that time I test it with a proxy it loads up quickly(which eliminates the possibilities of problems on the server's side)
sometimes hotmail(or should I say outlook) opens up really slowly, I'm not sure, it's only a select amount of websites that this happens to me, so I wanna ask if anyone has encountered a similar scenario before and if there's anything I can try to resolve this issue?
Thank you,
Raficoo.
EDIT: FIXED, Surprisingly the problem has an easy fix(and an ogero tech support told me this!), the solution was to open up the adapter properties in the network and sharing and change the automatic DNS to use the DNS to 8.8.8.8 on the preferred box.
