You were out-classed, out-gunned, and out-played in every possible aspect of the game. Fair and simple. The final being two teams from the same league has happened before with Spanish, English, and Italian teams so I don't see how you reached that conclusion.
Barcelona has been very weak the second part of the football year (as of 2013) especially with their back line, always conceding goals albeit scoring a lot. They just didn't face a team with a good attacking and defending chemistry. This kind of result was just expected to happen sooner or later. You can't keep relying on Messi to do the dirty work all the time, especially when he is rendered useless by a good defensive midfield/ defense.
Don't worry though, I'm sure a couple of key transfers will put you guys back on track to becoming contenders in CL, maybe avoid a humiliating 7-0 loss this time around :)
