hello everyone, i am going to go crossfire and buy another 7950 vapor-x... unfortunately my current mobo doesn't support crossfire.....i came upon the Sapphire pure platinum z77, its available on pcandparts for 155$ (final price), but wherever i search i can't find any reviews on it what do you think is it a good buy?...here is a link of the product( http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=2&gid=1040&sgid=1167&pid=1557&psn=&lid=1&leg=0 )....this mobo has some very tempting features, 3 pci 3.0 and 1 ,2.0, 32gb max ram, cmos clear button,2 sata 3.0....the pcie 3.0 is a big plus for me and any other brand (asus azrock...with 2 or more 3.0 pcie slots will be in the 300$ range)...do you think its a quality mobo? what about Sapphire do you think they can be trusted with motherboards??... awaiting your replies :)
Are you going to run Crossfire on a 600W litepower?
Prices for Motherboards here are just crazy to be honest. I purchased a ASrock Extreme 6 for 185$ from Pakistan, and it was on expensive side as other vendors didnt have it in stock, the same board is retailing @ 300$ here. I would recommend it highly but as your budget is limited go for the Asrock Performance Z77. its @ 110$ at amazon so should cost you near 155$ range with shipping and all.

The Extreme6 has a few more features than the Extreme4, not worth it unless chassis wants those extra features. I think the board you linked to is not the Extreme4. This is the Extreme4. Costs $135 here.
yes the board I mentioned is Asrock Performance Z77. its a further step down the Extreme 4. but has all the basic features he needs.
No I will not crossfire on a litepower 600w:pp....I am getting the xfx 850w core edition pro....yasamoka where did you find the extreme 4 which costs 135 $? Can you send a link to the store...also I want a board located in lebanon, I just don't want to go through the hassle of ordering from abroad. ...thank you
Also any thoughts on the sapphire should I not even think about it??
Stick to brands like Gigabyte, Asus, AsRock and MSI. Sapphire is great with graphics cards but I don't think they're so good with motherboards.

I would get the Extreme 4, it has tons of awards for being the best budget motherboard in the market right now.

I would upgrade the PSU BEFORE getting a second card.
You will have to go through the hassle hehe. Shipping via Aramex and Borderlinx is super easy. Just make sure of item type so you can get 0 percent customs. I'll help you out via PM if you get to the point of ordering from abroad.

In a while I'll tell you how much a friend shipped an Extreme4 for.
Ok thank you everyone...the 7950 won't go anywhere near the rig before I upgrade my psu....yasamoka I will definitely be taking you up on that offer. I think the extreme 4 is the way to go
The rog store here in lebanon has it for 240 $ (the extreme 4) I hope ordering it from amazon won't be this expensive...

What's a ROG Store ? :D
ASRock Z77 Extreme4: $134.99 (Amazon) + $23.11 (shipping, 1.6kg/4.5kg shipment of mobo, GPU, RAM, soundcard) + ZERO customs + 10% VAT = $173.91

Thats a flat 105 over the amazon price I wonder whether the retailers have so much overhead here or its just a profit.

d3ad you can ship this thing alone and pay $180-190, it arrives at your doorstep with a bunch of flowers and a Happy Meal.

That's disregarding the reductions in shipping prices one gets with slower shipping (probably no customs and taxes), MUCH more items combined, and wholesale prices. Disregard rent costs, as many sellers do not have a store or pay rent.
