Hello All, does any one have a clue on what would be the best hardware to use for streaming any media from a wireless device (phone, PC, laptop) to TV with decent quality.
I have a Sony 3D internet TV but cannot stream HQ video from other devices, and high res photos take forever to load.
any idea?
thanks,
Ed

You have the WiDi standard. Expensive and laggy.
Whatever you use to stream, if the TV is not going to decode it (needs support), then you'll need to send a compressed video signal. Not the best choice when dealing with quality video and games. Also, laggy.
Wireless display protocols are still not mature enough; is there no way you could have the TV connected via HDMI?

Too far....How about using home plug can it be better? at least one side is wired.

What do you mean by home plug?
By the way, you could pass a 15m HDMI cable without having a repeater boost the signal.
