ddelati I have a TP-Link (TL-WR542G) router. I successfully configure it and set it up. But the thing is every time the power cuts, and it comes back on it won't connect.I changed the IP address to be sure its not conflicting. But still what I get is....."obtaining parameters" in the wireless tab in the router menu...and it never reconnects. What am I missing? What settings in the router should I have?
AvoK95 Maybe when the power is coming back on, the adapter isn't getting the full 220V. Do you have a UPS connected ? What settings in the router should I have? That depends on what type of connection you're using.
TPR0 If the power switches from lets say Generator to Dawle fast by contactors, then thats it... You need to put a delay switch for the router like 5 secs... (since when you unplug the router power, capacitors on the board are not fully discharged, though conflicts occur.) Happens on my Tenda router...
