hey guys...
i am building a gaming PC and i am confused between 2 GPU and also i don't know which PSU i have to put
these are the specs for now

• Case: Cooler Master Cosmos II
• Motherboard: Intel X79SI
• CPU: Intel i7 3930K
• CPU Cooler: Thermaltake BigWater 760i
• HDD: 1* 160Gb Sandisk SSD, 1* Seagate 7200RPM 2Tb
• GPU: Gigabyte GeForce 560Ti or Gigabyte VGA Geforce GTX660TI
- Downgrade the CPU to a 3770k
- Ditch the watercooler and get something that runs on air
- Get something different than the sandisk SSD, Kingston HyperX3 or an intel 520 if u find one
- Go bigger with the GPU. Get a 7970 or a GTX680 if you have that kind of money to spend.
- And unless you plan on crossfiring or SLI dont get a cosmos 2 it would be waste of money
Check out some reviews and benchmarks, you'll see the 660Ti is better.

That's very imbalanced. Why are you getting a 3930K and coupling it with a 660Ti? And out of all X79 motherboards, the Intel one?

That water cooling kit is to be avoided at all costs.
That's a very bad spec-sheet.

Ditch the 3930K, get a 3770K or better yet, get a 3570. a 3570 vs a 3930K = NO PERFORMANCE INCREASE! and you'll save $400 right there. Get a Z77 board, 8GB of Hyper X RAM. Don't you even THINK ABOUT getting the BigWater, (I have experience using it and it S-U-C-K-S!) It was a week old, the backplate broke and the pump leaked. Get an Intel SSD, Get a HAF X it's much cheaper than the COSMOS II. Now you have about $500 to spend on a GPU. Consider a 670 and an XFX 750W PSU (PSU from CompuWorld)
what is wrong with water cooling ?!
Nothing is wrong with water cooling. But that specific water cooler is just horrible.
why ? all reviews and benchmarks is saying it's pretty good .
It doesn't matter how many fans , heat sinks or heat pipes you use , the minimum you can achieve is close to the ambient temperature

This thing is hot, fails easily, can leak, pump fails, doesn't cool better than air heatsinks.

Meanwhile, you're talking about a custom water loop. THOSE, are worth it, yes (I run one).
Thermaltake's BigWater is a POS !!

You can easily K.O that kit with any of Thermaltake's Frio series, FrioOCK is an excellent air cooler @ 79.2$ (inc VAT) witch is half the price of BigWater 760..

The 3930K Hexa-Core processor is an overkill for gaming, get 3770K on a professional Z68 or Z77 board or even 3570K cuz you don't need HyperThreading in a gaming system..

With the extra cash you can get a nice Geforce GTX 680 card or a Radeon 7970 GHz Edition card, OC to 4.2GHz~4.5GHz and call it a day..

Completely agree with this. Makes sense.

+1 as well.

The BigWater of a friend's PC leaked all over his Maximus V Formula, and was a complete nightmare to clean it up. The first time I installed it. The screws failed. The second time I installed it, the backplate broke. JUST AVOID IT!
