Anyone here playing Simcity? Just bought it through Origin. Couldn't resist hah! looking if any of you guys are on it yet and feel like joining in to create a dysfunctional lebanese region or so hah!

i'm really curious to see what this game is and trying it out but unfortunately it's out of my price range for the moment and have higher priority games to get first.
Might end up downloading a cracked version and giving it a go if there is any. I haven't followed news on it, but i heard it was having a lot of issues with downtime on servers.

It had, but they fixed it now. Thing is, you might wanna buy it because you get access to 1 of 8 games you choose from for free, including Mass Effect 3, BF3, and Deadspace 3. It sounds like i'm an EA advertiser now lol! its a really fun game nevertheless...

I had no clue about this offer. I don't check up much on EA stuff, is this a limited time offer or more like a permanent one? cause that kinda raises the priority of the game for me now lol. would appreciate a link to this as well :)

This is the game and these are the games you get free. Offer available till march 30 so if you wanna do it better do it now. (plus i read in small print that if you didnt download your free game by then you lose your chance to get it, fuckers).

Meh.. 60 euros so i can get 2 games and i have less then 2 days to do this. No can't do. The march 30 date is only for redeeming, the package ends sooner. The whole thing is a little confusing in their explanation. I'm surprised a gaming company isn't making things user friendly, but well i guess since they're giving away free games, they don't want too :P

You have to buy it from Origin. I'm not sure if you can find physical copies of it, but it definitely isn't cracked (at least yet).

Honestly?... ... ... screw that game! lol reading what i wrote in this thread now... This game sucks! royally! I mean, it could have been much better, it has the potential for it, but EA money department totally massacred the devs, their work, and vision. That's how it feels to me at least. The game was launched prematurely, in an unplayable state. it has an always-online DRM mechanism. It's the worst 70 $ (!!) I wasted. ever.

check out Tropico 4 instead. Very amusing approach to the city-building game genre.
