Hello,
My old Thompson router is starting to malfunction, restarting all the time so it's time for me to buy a new one. Which one would be the best to get from pcandparts?
We have about 8 devices in the house (connected by wireless) and i use it for online gaming.
Thank you.

TP-Link TL-WR1043ND. Good enough stock firmware (a bit lacking in extra features), gigabit ethernet, 300mbps (rated ofc, not real) wireless N, 3 antennas, USB port. This is probably one of the most powerful routers in terms of wireless range. Inexpensive at $59.
If you decide to get deep into things, the router is the most documented-for (last time I checked) router on OpenWRT, a custom firmware that allows total control over your router's networking.
Have this router, can't recommend it enough!
EDIT: is your Thompson a router/modem? If so, be careful. You'd also need an ADSL modem.

It is a router/modem. I'd need to get another modem then?

i recommend a ubiquity or mikrotik router. both of them are able to run openwrt on it. i have a routerstation pro, and it works just fine and ist always expandable with more wlan cards.

@kiwithefruit before you go and buy a new one check the adapter , sometimes restarting is caused by a defected AC/DC adapter.
