Please input your feedback on Xperia U, please note that my budge is $200 if anybody wants to suggest another phone.
I already did my homework and done some research and I can't seem to find any reason not to buy it.
The limited storage is ok with me, i was a little worried about the battery life tho, can anybody give me some estimation on the battery life? That would be great. Please note that I will be mainly using it for gtalk or some messenger, no vidoes and what not.
why don't you go for the Xperia Sola.
It is thinner, has a bigger screen, a memory card slot and NFC support.
but it lacks a front camera.
The price is approx. the same

Good advise and It has a lot more power saving capability as I read ( when its idle)

I think i will go with Xperia Sola after all.

true, am not the most handsome person, I don't mind not being in a picture or taking the picture myself
Xperia U limited storage is really a major turn off, I would choose it even in a budget.
Xperia Sola on the other hand is really a good phone and keep the price point relatively low due to its non-metallic structure, stick with.
i say save few more bucks and get the xperia SL for 350$ or S for 300$
i have the Xperia S and i love it.
Or xperia P for 270$ is the best phone on a budget and plus it have a nice designe and transparent touch glass for navigating.
Xperia U is around 180$ now, and for that price this is the best you can get.
I have one and I would say its great for this price range, I only had one problem with connecting to my home WIFI when I flashed ICS but resolved when downgraded to GB.

My main worry about Xperia U is the battery, i will be only running gtalk on 3g.
Do you know about how long will the battery go without dying on me?

The only reason i might go with Xperia Sola is the stand by battery. Which seem to be a lot better than Xperia U which is around 70% more!
if you scroll down to "stand by battery" on this website . but the stand by for 3g seems the same.

But what exactly do they mean when they say stand by battery life? what is considered stand by? is having 3g on and gtalk waiting for messeges considered stand by?
