I was most impressed with his action on SOPA. Withink 3 days, he actually somehow managed to delay the bill long enough so that people would be aware of it, and with time they were able to defeat it, and it didn't pass at the end.
I believe that the bill would have passed if it wasn't for him.
Sure, it's not really him but the people who did this (and that's in his own words), but he was a key actor in starting the whole thing. He may not have done much, overall, in the sense where he's not really
the one who "delayed the bill", but he created a petition which got many signatures and that contributed greatly in slowing down the process enough so that the people could actually weight into that decision, and eventually repel it. So it might seem like he didn't do much but in a way his actions and initiatives for freedom on the internet are impressive and inspiring.
The lesson here may be that it doesn't take much to be a great person and to make a difference in the world, but one has to be swift.
