Is anyone having problems with the proxy server after the latest PS3 update? I can't sign in to PSN if the proxy is activated :/

those are all the patches to LBP2 to date so all must be present on your HDD for you to be able to go online you are all welcome if you need any help don't hesitate and ask

Is it true that the new software update blocks using proxy servers for updating?
I am talking about version 4.40. I personally dont use the proxy method, only did it once for Heavy Rain.
Apparently yes :/ this couldn't come at a worst time seeing as I have a bf3 update to install... I'll try it tomorrow morning and let you know.
You guys still having problems downloading stuff from PSN, because i didnt experience anything bad since i basically "optimized" my network for the PS3 primarily. That is why i dont find a reason to use the proxy.
Ok so i tried updating bf3 via the proxy server. Everything works correctly and the proxy logs show that i'm using the update on my PC. However the time left shown on the ps3 is 380 minutes (usually it takes around 40 min) which is a lot like i'm downloading it...
Can anyone confirm this?
Just check the status of the file you're downloading..if the speed is 1MB/s, it's normal

Edit: Just realized it's an update, only thing you can do is wait and see what happens..
no am using the newest firmware and it didn't block proxy enjoy :)

Guys, I'm downloading Mass Effect 3, I need to know if the proxy is 100% working, my friend is having trouble downloading the BF3 Update..
So..guys tried downloading the Mass Effect 3 game..It's really slow, the proxy is working and the logs are showing but the speeds aren't the same at all, anyone having similar problems?

Sony blocked proxy bypass...This is pure shit from their part
Sony blocked this method due to hackers using this method for other purposes
and yeah fuck their console system (prebuilt low end locked pc crap)
