Hello,
I'm pretty sure I'm not the first person to be having this issue, but I have a sort of different question about it.
I downloaded, during the past two days, the iOS6 .ispw for iPhone 4 GSM, from Apple.com. The problem is that my download got stuck, during both tries, with a full progress bar, a legitimate download speed indicator and showing that the number of megabytes downloaded is done (I couldn't know about the KB and bytes since Firefox download doesn't show them).
Not wanting to wait any more, I cancelled the download, and went to check the actual file. While downloading it, Firefox indicated that its size is 888MB. On the hard disk it was 930.6MB
[link] . No problem here, I know that my OS rounds at kilo=1000 instead of kilo=1024.
But that got me still paranoid, the iPhone I'm going to update is not mine.
Does anyone confirm that having the same amount of Bytes means that the whole file had been downloaded correctly ? Or is there a chance of having those "few seconds remaining" breaking some stuff in the file ? I waited quite much before cancelling the download process.
And any solution to fix that Firefox bug ?
