also i would like to make sure that you know the difference between unlocked and jail-broken phone.
Also in the end it remains in you would like and android or iOS, and those would be in the other forms
Given that at the time of writing there is no jailbreak, let alone software unlock, for an iphone 5 (not even an unlock for 4 on the newer basebands) I guess it would be safe to assume that I know how I'm unlocking my phone. And yes, it is still sealed.
What's important to me is the LTE. Nexus 4 LTE does work in canada if enabled although it's not officially supported so it may be problematic to me, plus I've been reading reports that the battery life suffers significantly when the LTE radio is enabled (which is expected) but I've had the Galaxy Nexus and I wasn't particularly happy with the battery life on that.
@ironman : Thanks for the update, the problem is that I won't be physically there so it would be a bit challenging to get a good price
@darkne: I love android, I enjoyed google now and customization, I also hate the locked ecosystem on the iPhone, however when it comes down to the actual handsets, I think the quality of the iPhone 5 is now leaps ahead the plasticy feel of the nexus lines. Plus I use a lot of airplay and the LTE on the iPhone 5 is top notch and the battery life is good considering the speeds it's operating on. I think I might keep the iPhone in the end and get a nexus 7.
edit : oh and I hate apple maps... I've tried them on a friend's phone and crappy is not even close especially when compared to google maps but it seems that google is preparing their own iOS maps which hopefully will not be hindered by apple.
