Hey guys I am planning to buy a new 40-42" LED TV I have now narrowed it between the Samsung ES6200 and the Sony HX750 a lot of people online recommended the Sony over the Samsung yet the HX750 has it's share of bad reviews. In my knowledge the Sony has better picture quality though I have never had either Sony or Samsung. I have an LG LCD which has been around for over 5 years and now it's having a lot of sound issues like the sound not coming until the TV has been on for over 30min.
The TV will be mainly used for watching HD movies and PS3 and occasional SD cablevision TV.
Please recommend a TV according to your experiences with LEDs
Thanks

I don't have much experience with LEDs, but all i can say that regarding picture quality, Sony and only Sony, and it is very noticeable.
btw, i have a Sony Bravia LCD TV 32".

I currently own 2 Samsung 32", 1 LG 42" and 1 Bravia 42"
I recommend Sony.

Hey Omar, I didn't check the specs of both Tv's but I would recommend for you to check the following.
Speed at which you change channels (if you do not own a receiver). That black screen between channels some tv's take more than a second to change a channel I hate this. I say quicker is better :)
Options in the remote (Picture in picture, Jump, favorite channels, renaming channels etc....)
Check the back of the TV does it support plugging a hard disk in it and directly play ur movies from there? (no need to walk to change dvd's)
Are they smart tv's? can they be connected to the internet? can you plug you pc, dvd player, playstation and xbox at the same time?
So what i recommend is going for the TV with most options and that would facilitate your life.
