You're welcome man. Welcome to the forums!
Well, you could say pretty much all TN panels (and even IPS panels) nowadays come with low enough response times to not make ghosting an apparent problem.
I don't have an answer to your question, unfortunately, but I can suggest one thing. You should take a look at the monitor, turned on of course, before buying. This is because with TN panels you get poor viewing angles, especially vertically, so the bigger the monitor is relative to you (a function of size vs distance from eyes), the harder it becomes to look straight onto the monitor without the viewing angles causing color shifts / inversion (due to a limited range of angles you can look at the monitor from). Along with the probably slightly inflated price 27" 1080p monitors may carry, you need to consider the fact that you can get a 24" with a finer dot pitch and density for cheaper and it may be a better option as they're had more time to be refined (such as the Samsung PX2370). I don't think 27' monitors have been in the market long enough to be as refined. So you need to make an educated choice after reading reviews and such. This is similar to 120mm vs 140mm fans, the latter moves more air for the same noise, but the former has been on the market longer and is more refined. Gentle Typhoons, often referred to as the flagship 120mm fan, beats most, if not all 140mm fans in airflow vs. noise. I hope you get my point about how much this idea matters.
Also, to whet your appetite:
a 27" 1440p LED-backlit IPS monitor that can reach a 104Hz refresh rate!
