Hey, I want to buy a good quality bicycle, but I don't know any shops or anything. Does anyone know where I can find bikes ?
And do you guys think that it is a good idea for meto go to AUB by bicycle instead of going walking (from Koreitem) ?
Thank you.

And yes, I think it's a great idea.

Yes. That's the exact location.

Try those places the fellows mentioned. If they come as too pricey, let me know. I prefer to buy a bicycle package from the UK and assemble it here. You get top notch quality with fair prices. You also get to work with it yourself, that way, if anything gets damaged later, you'll know where exactly and replace it yourself.

I went to the shop enthralled mentioned, they have a 400$ bike, made in Taiwan with Shimano 24 gears, aluminum bike, normal brakes and front suspension. And they had a 600$ Italian bike, with nearly the same specs just a little better in quality. I can't tell whether it is expensive or not. So what do you guys think ?
They also had city bikes, but I don't know if it is good here in Beirut because of all the holes and bad roads, and I want to be able to go up and down the side walk without worrying about the bike.
Thank you.

Sadly my dad changed his mind and said that I shouldn't get a bike, because maybe some crazy guy might just hit me with his car on purpose and walk away like nothing happened. If you want to ask why would someone hit you, they might be jealous or something and they just hit me.
What do you guys think ?

I've been using a bicycle for transportation my entire adult life. It's true that it's totally risky, and one crash could lead you to death, but I love bicycles too much to quit. I do however pay way extra attention to the roads, watch out for others. I almost died several times this past year. My closest encounter was when two cab drivers decided to get at it, I heard the sounds from a distance, walked down to the pavement and took the bicycle along, and BAM, in a split second, they flashed by. You should be careful.

People with fancy cars should be at the highest risk of being "hit on purpose" because people tend to be jealous of them. Yet, it doesn't really happen. This is a standard Lebanese parent scare-tactic.

I don't mind taking risks... At least I'm living my short life my way :)

Unfortunately, my father won't change his mind. So, I guess no bike for me in Lebanon.

Thanks a lot everyone.

Hello guys.
I am looking for a good quality bike also. To start getting back in shape. It's been too long, and in a bit you'll know what I mean.
I am not looking for the top notch bikes out there, just a good quality bike that can handle weights of 110-120kg.
Op found some bikes for 400$ as I read..
I think it's too much, I would want som thing between 100-200$.
So where can I get one?
Thanks

Thanks @rtwo2008
Saw it on the map.
Do you know the price range of his bikes.. And the quality.
Maybe you have purchased a bike from him before?
Anyway as I don't have a car.. I don't want to take buses all the way there just to see bikes.
Anywhere nearer than there?
Thanks.

Ive purchased many throughout the years, last 2 were 5 years ago. They have been in the business for 30-40 years. They are the most popular bike sellers in keserwan.
