Just called nino, he's getting the xbox copy tonight at 9 and ps3 original saturday and at most monday! Are you guys excited ? I was thrown off at first by the move of putting a cod title in the future but it does really look awesome, so who's getting it tonight ?
I'll be buying the original version when it's released. Are they releasing the PC version on the same date of only for consoles?
I don't really know, i think Virgin will have the pc version, pc games in Lebanon aren't getting much attention so your best bet is to get it through steam.
Getting PS3 on sat and tomorow getting the copy just because i want a taste of the multiplayer in combat training before getting into the real thing, hope to see a better community with this release.

who ever gets the xbox copy make sure its xgd3 burned or lots of error will pop up plus you will get flagged for a ban

I talked to Virgin and they said they have the console versions but they dont know about the PC version
since i play only PC i need the PC version obviously.
of course i can re-order on steam but i would like the box with the DVD if anytime i decided to format or re-install the game(less hassle then to re-download the whole thing) .

Oh dear. The excitement for a CoD. Then the game releases, everyone thinks this is the best CoD. 3 months in complaints. 3 months after loss of interest. Overpriced dlc doesn't help. Hear rumors of a new CoD. Wait all summer. And repeat process.
On a more positive note, blackops 1 has been my favorite CoD to date. Been watching a lot of leaked gameplay on youtube (its being taken down though) really liking the zombies. I paid for all the dlc on blackops 1 just for the zombies, guess ill cave in and evetually pick this game up just for that gamemode. Probably for the ps3 aswell not pc (pretty poor zombie community on pc)
For once, i don't feel like i'm missing out. The game is fine. But it's lost its luster ever since mw2. Or maybe i just grew older. Meh fps game anyway.

*From all the game play i've seen. Zombies has the same formula, plus addtional things such as what we have seen in the trailer. Yet core mechanics, perk machines and what not are still all there
*Richtofan now replaces Samantha as the demonic voice during zombis (if you are unfamiliar with the zombies storyline this will make no sense whatsoever to you)
*You seem to make a return to Earth, even though it was pretty much destroyed (if you have completed the Moon easter egg in BO1 zombies you'd know what i'm on about here) anyway it seems that Richtofan is now controlling the zombies and is trying to get his own back. It's a very fuzzy storyline and the brief amateur gameplay being posted online isn't helping, but that's the generic "all that's going on with zombies" explanation
Multiplayer,
*Fast paced like Blackops 1, yet slightly slower but not as slow as mw3. Think of it as somewhere between mw3 and Blackops1 in terms of speed
*The mp7 is probably the best and most over powered SMG
*In terms of perks the most thing of interest that i remember was Ghost making a comeback, yet with a catch. The UAV can pick you up if your standing still i.e. camping, you must be moving for ghost to take effect. In the same class there is either blind eye or cold blooded (forgot) Cold blooded is for everything else (ghost being exclusive to just UAV) as for Blind Eye it is for all sort of "manned" air support
*Also the point system in MP. Meaning you have 10 points to spend it on to make your classes. You can choose to sacrifice your equipment for an extra perk, or another primary for a extra perk so on so forth / vice-versa.
*The war/warthog (not sure forgot the name) is probably the most overpowered killstreak i have ever seen. Killstreas don't stack as in mw2, but unlike BO1, they count to each over (meaning if you get 2 kills from a 3 killstreak reward, it will add up and reward you the 5 killstreak)
*If you leave many games in succession (i.e. the rage quit) you will be punished in some way
*There are a variety of weapon attachments INCLUDING FMJ. This increases your bullet damage and can be seen as a somewhat mild version of the ever so infamous stopping power perk that has been basically been removed ever since MW2
*Maps are "pretty" in pure treyarch fashion

got the game yesterday from a regular store and it had nuketowns in it and didn't wait for virgin with their loser launching events and super expensive early release games
