Hello guys.
For one week now, I've been in Germany, Berlin. I am taking advantage of my status as a freelancer to travel and look around for opportunities, a different life and experience...
As soon as I got here, I bought a SIM card and subscribed to 3G, so that I can skype and use it for work if there is no wifi provided.
Now I noticed that the connection is rather good, and most of all I think it has a greatly small latency. I can use it for skype, although the quality is not great - it's better to use a regular DSL over wifi.
But... guess what I've been using it for today... remote desktop... can you believe it? And it works great, very little lag at full resolution. It's very useable.
I don't want to make you jealous or anything - nor brag (like, who cares), just thought I would share this with some fellow geeks - not many people understand what RDP is. Besides it's about time I post something here, it's been a while.
