I am in the same boat , waiting for the PG 27uq and PG 35Vq to drop the trigger on one of them. HDR is aweome on capable panels with an efficient local dimming , HDR Peak Brightness crossing 1000 nits and black tipping 0.05 nits and below with a wide enough color gamut covering more than 85% of DCI P3 and rec. 2020 color space. Experience what real HDR id all about on the sony x930e.
The above two monitors will be lunching soon (Q2 2018 most probably) Nvidia Released the Big Format Tvs / Monitor Hybrid which is similar to the specs of the PG 27uq but 65inches and an Nvidia Shield. Same Panel technology ( HDR , FALD , VA Panel , 2160p , Qauntum Dot, 144hz )
we can't see the inside of your pc, too dark:)vlatkozelka wroteSold my old hardware, although I'm against updating CPUs right now, I had to cause mine was bottle-necking a lot. And the 8600K is a really good deal this time around.
current specs:
Mobo: Asrock z370 extreme 4 (the best z370 I could find in Lebanon, and that doesn't break the bank)
CPU: i5-8600K OC'ed to 5Ghz
RAM: T-Force 8GB 3000mhz. Really bought this one cause it's red lol. I'm actually a HyperX Fanboi, should've got the predator and painted that
GPU: Asus GTX 1080Ti Turbo.
The cpu is watercooled, but I still need to decide if I'm gonna do the gpu. The 1080ti has a lot of VRMs to cool, and I'm honestly more afraid doing so on it than the older 970 I had.

same.. waiting for these new monitors. Although i'm kinda worried the VA panel will suffer from ghosting.Tech Guru wroteManOwaRR wrotei really want a new monitor that can do 4k + hdr+ 1ms response time +144Mhz this PG279Q Rusted on my desktop , come on asus give us a new monitor technology <3

When I fill the waterloop, I use a jumper for the motherboard connector that way the PSU turns on without the motherboard, and can then turn on the pump alone.nas93 wroteThat psu is so loud!
While doing so, I was never really able to hear the PSU going. At times I even had to put my ear next to it to make sure it's on.
But that could be due to it not really powering anything but a 45W pump.
Do you mean loud as in the graphics on it being loud? I was thinking about removing that sticker, and cleaning the glue with WD-40

Replaced the soft tubing with rigid ones. The soft tubes just got yellow-ish, and I got tired of the liquid leaching plasticizer and resulting in slimy residue.
Bending tubes turned out to be a lot of fun.

I might redo the gpu->cpu tube as it came out not parallel with everything else. It's a tough bend though

what tools are needed for vertical mounting ?Ramnesia wroteI made some modifications, mounted my GPU vertically and added LED's.

I used this chassis accessory which is designed for some Cooler Master cases, but It will work for I think any 7 expansion slots cases and I had to cut all of the metal brackets.
thanks for the reply, I have the same case as you, I may try to do this.Ramnesia wroteI used this chassis accessory which is designed for some Cooler Master cases, but It will work for I think any 7 expansion slots cases and I had to cut all of the metal brackets.
