I heard this song on Radio One and am pretty sure its Jay-z the main Verse that keep repeating is from an old classic song but i totally forgot all the words thus me asking here for help and not googling it since i have nothing to google.

I know am not stating much, but thats the best i can do hopefully somebody noticed the song.

am not sure. There might contain a word of "father" or "dad" or "daddy" am not sure tho and the word "homie" come to mind as well, but am not sure if those are from the song or am mixing it from another song.

I just listened to it yesterday on Radio 1 too, I think they have ruined the original song with remix, it sounds horrible.I prefer the original by Cutting Crew.

Well I like the faster beat. The special effect of Jay-z just kills the music and the lyrics can be way better.
The older version is better but not at my current mood.
