So i am looking for a car to buy (my first) and i stumbled on a black golf 2003 and i really liked it .
Anyone here have one of them or has previous experience with them ?
give us all the details of the car
What do you mean by details ? sorry but i am nowhere near an expert in these things , thats why my uncle came with me .
But it's a 2.0 L .

And its an auto .
if you want to get a Gold, get a 1.8 GTI. awsome Car.
My new GTI should arrive next month from USA
I know it's awesome , but it's price i am sure is not .
I have a limited budget so i can't be picky .
How much are you willing to pay? I think that the price of the GTI is pretty close to the 2.0L
Well 11k is the max , and i think that's pushing it too .
The difference between a normal golf and a GTI is around 10K if it's new, sometimes even more... so a GTI 2003 will cost around 5k more than the normal one which is more than 11K

for your first car, a GOLF is a very good car
I don't know much about cars. But here's what I do when I search for cars:

A sample of your Golf GTI for $6,900:

Other cars on that same site for similar price range:

Yeah , that's what i thought ...A GTI is certainly a no go for me .
I found a golf 2003 with 2 doors that will cost about 10 k and a half , and another one 4 doors that is black that will cost 11 800 .. Does the color influence the cost that much ?
Thanks for all this information , really appreciate it .

Same car but 8K more expensive

One is 2 doors. the other 4 doors and yes the colour influence the cost

Anyway I asked my relative,he works at volkswagen he said :

-Golf 2003 between 7K and 9K "7assab nadafeta"
-Golf 2003 GTI between 12 and 15K
That is about right Jinx.

My cousin sold his 2003 golf for 8500 just last year before he traveled.

It shouldn't be any more than 9k really. Online, that's probably just the price before the "bantering" begins. If people see your willing and have cash in hand they will decrease for sure.

The GTI that arithma linked is very promising, but it's a manual so dunno if that works out for you.
take it from me, if you are going to park your car constantly under the sun, dont buy black.
Well i don't know about no more than 9k , as they are selling for 11k to 12k they salesman told us .

And metalloy what happens if you park it constantly in the sun ?
your discomfort, the car will not get damaged if that's what your worried about, but it will become a real oven, when the temperature outside is around 26 or 27, it can reach inside your for around 40C, and in really hot days it can reach around 50C, you wouldn't be able to grap then steering wheel without feeling the heat, and if you touch the metallic end of your seatbelt or the door handle, you will burn your hand XD
this is specially true for black cars with black interiors. And it is scientific fact that the lighter the color is the less heat it will store directly meaning the car will be less hot.
I regret everyday buying a black/black car, I just want to point that out, so if you are going to park everyday under the sun, consider lighter colors.
Or buy the thing you put on the windows to prevent the sun to reach the interior of the car
@jinx: the one that you put inside the car lead to storing the heat between it and between the windshield, and once you get in the car and remove it, you will unleash a heat wave in the car. The one you put outside the car is the best solution, but it will probably get stolen XD.
Wow , that's some interesting stuff meta . But like you said an exterior cover will get stolen so .. haha.
The other car i found is metallic so that means by your theory that it won't attract any heat ?
To be honest i think the color black on a car is so sexy and it comes with xenon lights too .
