Would it bring a 5GHz Sandy with a GTX680 to it's knees ?

i don't think so..
Doesn't it require a lot because of poor coding? At least that is what I have heard. Though I'm no expert in that matter.
Will a GTX 670 handle it right ?!
With ivy i5 , and a z77 ?

Avo, please understand that there is no game the 670 can't handle.

Especially at low resolutions such as 1080p that most people don't even have
i think crytek engine that was used in crysis1 was buggy ( i think even if you try it with gtx 690 it will still have a small lag loool)
but you can see that a lot of those problems were fixed in crysis2 even with the same computer specs you will have a better gaming performance .
in my opinion i think that crysis3 will be playable by any computer that can run crysis2
and AVOlio am sure that you will be able to play the game in a good resolution with that PC
Didn't know they were making a Crysis 2.1

You shouldn't be worried about running this or not; it sucks.

Anyone having problems running Crysis 3 on Nvidia 9800GT? Says the game requires DX11 Card. There seems to be a fix but i coudnt find it anywhere.
Update your graphic card and download the latest version of direct x 11, it should fix it.
Update, as in, "upgrade" :P

CryEngine 3.5 does not support any DirectX version less than DX11. I don't think any simple fix can solve that. It will have to be quite a complex fix.

Needless to say, it's difficult for the 9800GT to manage it even on low, as this game is barely running in the 30s-40s FPS with no AA @1080p, on high end cards (680 / 7970).
