Hey guys!
Ok so i have the famous issue of the galaxy nexus:
Phone acting really weird! It says it's charging while it's not even plugged and vice versa... etc
You can look at it similar issues here:

and here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1427539
(or even google it and enjoy)
As you can see some people suggested a fix and i tried it: "I took a thin knife and bent the little 4-pin plate in the USB port up by a millimeter. It was touching the bottom of the port causing a short-circuit and made the phone think it was plugged into a computer USB cable."
Now the phone doesn't act weird anymore however it doesn't charge normally like it should!
Yesterday i put the phone in AC charger and slept to wake today finding it powered off and battery completely empty!
I am confused if the battery is defected or the micro USB port! I think it's the latter!
Now when connected to PC it keeps connecting/disconnecting on MTP mode just under the slight micrometer movement of the plug!
Besides, I guess the port is causing power/voltage leakage! Yeah you read that right!
Do you remember the electrostatic power problem of the HTC sensation?! When the phone completely stops responding after disconnecting from charger?! until you keep touching it for some moment and you suck all the electrostatic from it! (

I had that too on my phone! However only affecting the lower part of the screen where the soft buttons are!
After some moments of trial, everything runs normal again!
So I had my friend working near Samsung (CTC) and he has some friends inside and he didn't encourage me to change that micro USB port over there; he told me some freaky stories...
So what should I do now guys?! Any place that you trust can accomplish such a delicate thing?! Coz changing it requires break apart most of the phone to reach that damn port!
Any help!? Any expertise in this issue?!
Regards and thanks for reading all that :)
