Not sure when this was released, but I just found out about this. Go to images.google.com, wait for the page to fully load, then drag and drop any image from anywhere to the page. A drop box will appear. Drop the image there, and google will find the source of that image. I tried images I made on Photoshop, and it found the elements I used. Freakin' awesome!

It was released more than a year ago, and there is the Google goggle application for the cellphone which does the same work.
It is indeed very powerful. I used it once when they gave us pictures of important people without names to know who they are; and it worked very well.

Hehe, I used it once to capture a faker at facebook, claiming that these were her pictures. Used the google image, and found out it was some other girl lol.

being using this from over a year,it's a great feature indeed allowing to get other sizes of a picture you currently have,or getting it source and other info,or like Badieh said spotting fake photos.

I use it pretty often,if you have an image that you need in bigger size, its the way to go!

Yes, have known for it for a while and used it a couple of times. There were a bunch of other websites where you could do that too, and I believe they worked better then Google, but their interface wasn't as good and I hardly remember their names.

There's an app for iPhone called Wolfram alfa, with the last update, i was able to search by images, not the big deal though.
