I need an ipad1, Do you know anyone who wants to sell it? I want something cheap for a kid not more than 150$.
I have a first generation iPad 16 GB that I am willing to sell for 150$. It's in perfect condition and I still have the box and all of its contents.
Can you wait one month i still need time to know if the school really needs it or it is bluffing.
Yeah, sure. Reply to this post or PM me whenever you have an answer.
Hey geekevo. Can you tell us which school is requesting the parents to get an ipad for their kids?
Pardise school(Janit el talaba)they want her to have an ipad i think she way to young (kindergarten)! Anyway i am waiting to see if they change their minds.
my friend's little brother is also requested to get an ipad, i dont get it really!
i beleive he's in the universal school.
The reason I'm asking is that I am the IT director at a school called Wellspring Learning Community. We're going to begin using iPads as a mobile lab in addition to making the students in the middle school levels to get iPads as well. I'm preparing the management interface for the iPad policy management via Apple Mac Lion Server; pretty interesting to see what other schools are trying to do to manage their iPads in their network.
i still dont see why a kid would actually get an ipad for learning purposes, for me it is some sort of a hype, so if you can elaborate on the subject on how ipads can actually give students a leading edge in the learning process, it would be great.

It adds a new kind of experience. We have known the mouse and the keyboard for so long. Bringing touch experience to students, especially for the gifted who need learning support, adds a new creative and interactive edge . iPad just a hype? No sir, far from it.
Monkey D. Luffy wroteWhy don't you get a cheaper yet better tab?
I agree when they told me they want an ipad in school i was stunned there are much better tabs to get for learning like the kindle.
touch interface is good, but the ipad is not designed for educational purposes, so using it in schools would practically limited in my opinion.
Anyway good luck with it.
Metalloy is right, except if the school's gonna make an app for the ipad.
