I hope this makes you guys laugh:

:D

Best of luck with the driving lessons. Remember, practice makes perfect and many people crash the first time they are asked to handle a car, so you did not do that terrible.
You have to be one with the machine ur driving...
You have to feel the wheels spinning and the engine running...

Ehem sorry just woke up and saying some ZEN stuff.
You should go karting for real, if your problem is steering you should try it. I went there yesterday with my friends and cousins, it was a blast. 20,000 LL for 10 min, but it feels alot more, though i thought having fun decreases time, but i guess since your running the same track it feels normal.

I tried karting before and it was very fun . But my biggest problem aside from steering is staying in my lane .
OnLiNe wroteSo guys i really need some advice here . I can't steer correctly the car and i still don't where i must keep the car, like i keep swerving and turn prematurely on corners. Any advice on that ?
Remember when I told you in a previous post of mine that the steering wheel is the hardest part? :)) Well, my advice here is when you drive, make sure you always hold a steady line, and whenever you want to take a turn or change from one lane to another on the highway check your mirrors. There is also a blind spot that the side mirrors can't catch, usually when the car is right at your side. So taking a quick look to your side is good. Make sure you don't gaze though and forget that your car is still moving forward.

At first, you will feel like the car is a huge truck that can hit anything on its way, but as you get used to the car, you will start feeling that its compact, and you will know where the edges of the car exactly sit. When you want to take a turn, turn on your side flasher (to announce that you will be slowing down), and start dropping gear before hand until you reach 2nd gear, this is when you should be right at the turn, check that it's safe, and move in slowly. Stay calm and this should go smoothly :)

Yes you did ! And you're 100% correct , today he took me on a highway , i kept thinking i will surely not do good . But it turns out that highway driving is A LOT easier than normal roads . The most i struggle with now is when turning at corners , especially steep ones . I just don't seem to get hang of it :(
Thanks for all the advice you guys gave me ! Now i am not nervous anymore and i conquered my fear of driving on the highway . I still struggle with a few things though , especially when driving with other cars on normal roads , and sometimes simple things as changing gears . It's confusing on certain occasions , i mean you have to keep track of a lot things at the same time , and this multitasking is what makes it difficult i think . On the other hand , now i truly believe money buys happiness , as when i paid him today (the instructor) he didn't yell as much as usual :D

Welcome to Lebanon.

And good luck with your driving :D
Keep it smooth ..

Exactly ! Lebanon is such a funny country .
Thank you !
So... This guy is REALLY pissing me off .. he started talking behind my back to my next door friend who is being instructed by him . He said some very nasty things about me , that i was mentally challenged and i didn't have the basics of driving a automatic car .. I mean DUH ! Isn't that the whole damn point of learning !??!?
So i want out , i want nothing to do with this ***hole . Anyway , can anyone give me another learning center in jal el dib area ? I am registered at affif abboud , but after this whole situation i am seriously thinking of leaving.
Man, all people in this business are rude and try to rip you off to the last penny.
don't even think about being nice to them, I mean they're not teaching you for free right ?!
In all honesty they're all rude and they all yell, i've had my share of experiences. At the end I realized all they do is make you do everything on your own and their advice is close to useless, and most of them charge $20 per hour. i've changed instructors about 5 times until at the end I got too annoyed and forgot about the issue alltogether. I've been the owner of a manual car for 4 months, I have a driving license, and i've yet to drive my car to work, I still take the bus. Want my advice just have one of your relatives teach you, you'll be more comfortable with it.

Well that sucks then...I mean can it be that hard to find someone who's good ?! My instructor is useless as you said .. He doesn't teach , he just tells me where to go , like he expects me to have prior experience . I wish i had someone to teach me but i don't , so i am pretty much stuck here.

Dude, buy a Magnum .44 and then Bang! Bang!

Yes I am serious.
Haha , as tempting as it may be , i think it is too easy .
