NuclearVision wroteI think wep cracking, has nothing to do with education, it is purely for stealing internet, i mean why would someone need it anyway, if you want to do something that makes you a geek, don't install such aoftware, or support them... And the "for educational purposes only" expression, education is far away from stealing.
"Sorry neighbors, i was just learning how to hack modems, that's for educational purposes only"
That's my opinion, now you know why the topic is "teasing me" thanks for the good language.
Can you please calm down and take a breath? There's far more to hacking WiFi than the end result. Learning about how WiFi works, how encryption works, how transmission works, how packet sniffing works, how to decipher the data obtained, what is the weak link in WEP, why to use WPA2, etc...is all educational. It's about learning about the technology behind that makes it educational, not tapping into your unknowing neighbor next to your house?
