As a rule, usually, add 50% to be on the safe side. So if it costs 143$, it would arrive for approximately 215$.
rtp wrotei just sent pcandparts an email.

Sorry not available
No information on ETA
Pcandparts usually gets generic items, sometimes they do get special items but overpriced like: acer iconia tabs. I wouldnt expect anything special from them regarding the nexus.
apparently asking for a fair price is a sin in this country
If u can order it through amazon to the UAE, and have a friend/relative bring it, that would be best. Because there is no VAT and a very minuscule customs fee.

i will get an extra one if i find one, but it doesn't look bright since i did a search online and can't find anything and am going to varna and not sofia(capital).
In Bulgaria or any European country, the tablet will be in EUROs but no worries it will be equal to the USA price + their local taxes.

I found it in the UK for 159 pounds. I'm calculating that the price was: 131 pounds (200$) + 20% UK VAT which ended up becoming 159 pounds. Of course you can deTAX it at the airport (you need to get a tax refund form filled from the seller first though) but don't expect to get all the 20% back and there are fees for the detax form at the seller and at the airport.

I wasn't able to get one as they only had the 16GB version and they only had it in stock the morning of my flight so I passed (too bad for me).
Even in the US (see ebay and amazon) the Nexus 7 is currently priced higher than its suggested equivalent. Reason is Google's tab is out of stock; so I suggest everyone here to bite on a pillow and wait few more weeks - I'm sure the price will make more sense by then. Say around $250 for the 8GB version.

nope. still not wildly available and over priced
I dont think its possible to find an 8gb version, so plan for the 16gb.
I doubt we can count on anyone local to bring it without asking for exorbitant prices, so it seems we have to take matters into our own hands and "nerba7 jmeelit" our relatives coming from USA and EU this summer.

Hahaha made me laugh! But it's true! We have no choice in the meantime!
Couple of months later or more that will change!

An unspoken one. In any tech store, show that you actually know about the product and fair pricing more than the store owner or salesman and he'll make a face like he's trying to digest a porcupine.

And looking at the prices I found here, I can kinda see why. http://www.3gleb.com/Products/tablets/pages/default.aspx

If the Nexus 7 were priced fairly, as in closer to its 200-ish price, no one'd even look to buy the rest of the tablets on the market. And the local stores can't have that. So they bumped (that's some bump) up the price to bring it closer to the average general tablet price.

Wow, this website is ridiculously overpriced. You'd think that saving on the cost of a physical store location would translate in a lower price... I have a feeling these guys are buying retail then adding their profit, which is a very bad business plan.
Amhaz( starts communication) has new prices: 8gb:305
16gb:355

This is so annoying.

I also noticed how it dropped like 100 dollars in a couple weeks.
Do you think the 16GB will go beneath the 320$ barrier? I'm really craving one but not keen on paying more than 300$. Also what about covers? Are there any available in Lebanon?
I think if it reaches 300$, it will not get any lower. Nexus 7 is now available in europe for 250 euros for the 16GB model. That is around 313$ on the day of this post
