  • PS3 System Activation/Deactivation.

So after searching the Playstation forums in the site, i noticed that there arent any topics regarding the PSN account activation/deactivation on multiple PS3 systems.
And i could not put a post like this in a thread without taking over that threads subject.

So, yea.
This topic is designated to everyone having problems in activating/deactivating their PSN accounts on different PS3 systems. In General, lets say in Gamesharing.


Now coming back to MY issue.

Ok so i shared my account with 2 people, one i trust, and one stranger. (he had alot of games, i could not resist)
He opened my account, and downloaded my games.. But he still did not let me download his games,
But thats not the problem..
For him to download my games, i Deactivated My PS3 system, so the download will work on his system.
Now, i dont have any access to any of my purchases in my download list, cause my PS3 is deactivated and his PS3 is activated.

All i would like to know, is that,
Does Sony Support here in Lebanon, has the capability to Deactivate all systems related to my account ?!
My account region is UK,
I cant deactivate all systems from SEN (Sony Entertainment Network) on PC, because i already did it once (have to wait like 6 months or so)
So does Sony here in lebanon have the ability to do it ?!
You could try asking, but as far as i know they don't.

I advise you change the PSN password at least from the website - that way he can't sign in anymore :) (i hope to god he hasn't already done this himself if so your screwed), and just wait out those 6 months, and deactivate PS3 that is tied to the account

He'd still be able to play the games he downloaded, but wont be able to see anything else you bought and download it - "sa7tein 3a albo" :P

I personally share all my accounts with people i can actually see - i once wanted to share an account with ElChoop for some blackops maps but there was no room for him to activate :( (sorry man i would have so done it for you even though it goes against my ethics of PSN account sharing :P ) but nobody at the time wanted to deactivate - and i couldn't force them too since i was already using their accounts as well -_-
I contacted Sony here,
Yea, you are right, they dont have.
Instead he gave me an email of the support of Sony in Dubai.
I emailed them, waiting for their answer...

And OF COURSE, i directly changed my password back!

But it really sucks that the PS3 systems we can share now are only 2!
yeah it's quite a stupid move by Sony imo

I was considering getting a Vita, but then i'll need to make a new ID, and of course buy games from that ID

I'd rather have everything on just one account and use that.

Sony usually reply back within a day or so, tell me how it goes.
They replied,
and although i told them in my message that i already deactivated my account through SEN,and i cannot do it again,they suggested that i deactivate it from there again, showing me the steps how to do it, and stuff..

Damn!

I replied another time, saying that i already did that method bla bla..
And i do not know what their next reply is going to be !!
