@MrClass: can't the software be fooled to think that you're running Mac hardware? I mean, isn't it a local check? The software running the code is running locally, and checking hardware locally. Surely there is a way to fool it into thinking it's fully running in a Mac.
EDIT: I am reading a few topics now, mentioned running Final Cut Pro X on a Hackintosh. Nobody has said anything about hardware verification. Why is that?
