@rolf: come and gimme a hug! You just proved my point:

#2 came with my phone. It's the official battery.
#1 was purchased from class. The Samsung logo is wider than the official one (these photos may not show), and so is text (by jusssst a bit). Date is missing. It's QR code is blurred sideways (compare them closely, that's a SCANNED QR Code.)

FYI, both QR codes gave me links in my QR Barcode Scanner.

#2 was 50% at night, I slept about 8 hours, when I woke up the battery was 0%. (My phone usually drains 1% per hour on standby, WiFi, usually MAX 2% per hour.)

Measured voltage, was 3.0x V (literally EMPTY). Recharged a bit, kept measuring voltage, it crept up to around 3.7V. Reached 44%, removed charger, removed battery, measured voltage, put the battery back in, and turned on phone. 34%. Miracle of miracles.

Not only is it fake, it's not even working like a good fake.

Check this out:

Don't you just love Samsunng...err I mean Samaung...err sorry Samsung!

Bought from Class.

Welcome to Lebanon!

(Be careful what batteries you buy in this shit country!)

You mean #2 in your list, which is #1 in the photos?
You got me lost a bit here.
Guyz, does this mean extended batteries are dangerous? Such as, 3500 mAh batteries?
@TPRO no but you have to be careful "مش كل شي بيلمع ذهب" , you should check for reviews, check if it does heat up to much while charging, check check check.....

bottom line don't buy with your eyes closed especially in our market . you must be careful even the genuine ones might be dangerous, technology have two faces one of them is evil >:-) .

@yasamoka i told you , i like to buy batteries with dates printed on them which means I'd buy #2 which looks genuine .
