  • How can I make WMP 12 use less system resources

I has iTunes since 2009 so I'm using it and no complain... If I don't feel like opening it I use VLC

For your problem maybe it is a virus? Have you considered this probability?

PC gets rarely used.
I hate third party media players especially iTunes (I hate that thing)

Anyway, I deleted my library and it seems to use only 40% of the CPU again. But at least I can listen to songs now..
Any suggestions guys ?

So I eventually did a full system recovery and it seems to do the trick. I'm running Chrome with 8 tabs , MSN and WMP with only 70% of my CPU being used and most importantly there is no chopping anymore in songs.
