Buying online and Lebanese customs

Hello! I want to know if customs in Lebanon are putting price related to the weight or the price paid on the item? Gonna buy a thing with a weight about 200g...

has anyone actually tried to go to the custtoms himself to get the item?
I tried that twice, you need to go to every office with a guy who follows you around. Everyone expects 10000LL to do their job then you need to go and convince the main guy who has an office (i refer to him as mr big d*ck) to actually do his job and give his final signature.
The customs part is easy, but getting everyone to do their job is the hard part!
And not to mention the guy who follows you around wants 30-50000 LL.

I am going there soon to get some items and I am going to refuse to pay bribes let's see if i make it on the news :)

Contact the seller and ask them for a tracking number of the shipper they used, then go the shipper's website and figure out where it is. If they used regular post, it will be much more difficult to track though.

i received an aromatherapy kit i ordered online (Vaporizer 75$)
It was detained at customs, and when i refused to pay the 100 000 LL bribe, they threatened
that the vaporizer is illegal and that they should report me to the "Niyebe 3amme"
although what i ordered is 100% Legal,, he even took it to the Mr Big D*ck as Jsaad said and they researched it on the
web to find that its a simple aromatherapy kit for herbs
His last comment was that the kit can be used for illegal purposes and that they cannot hand it over although hes willing to "let me go"
i have to get a medical paper or proof that the kit will not be used for illegal purposes
im gonna try and negoriate a fair bribe next time as its the only way you'll get your stuff !

Guys, has anyone bought a game online? I found a great offer for WWE 13 with free delivery for only 52$ and was wondering how much it'll cost if I order it to Lebanon after everything (taxes, customs, clearances...)

I order from amazon like 3 Wii Games and had to pay like $54 for them...

also ordered 2 Razer Naga Mice had to pay like $48 customs..

always getting screwed since they counted each 1 wii game as a separate package rather than 1 whole package..

I am planning to buy 10 guitar strings sets 10$ each ( 30$ in lebanon) from amazon. They say 6$ shipping and 6$ per item So now i will pay 66$ tax. am i right?
