Well i am no linux expert, im actually an idiot in all of these, but still getting used to Ubuntu and backtrack which are both linux builds.
But i personally hate many things in windows 7 and many errors drive me crazy even though i have an updated original windows 7 ultimate version ( not a pirated copy with a faulty crack ).
Moving to linux based systems was a welcomed idea from my part since it provided a relatively better experience in small day to day activities such as browsing and programming ( both which i do the most ) and social stuff.
Unfortunately it wasn't so well in gaming since i cannot run any .exe files and Wine is incompatible with everything.
So looking into zorin and the " You can even install Windows programs on Zorin OS in a similar way with PlayOnLinux. You are also able to download installable packages (.deb and .exe) like in your current operating system. " So maybe this will solve some limitations ( again ... MAYBE .. i haven't tried it yet ).
So if Zorin provides me an environment that is smooth, fast and easy, with less windows errors and connectivity problems, with nice browsing and interface ( which ubuntu does already ) and with gaming compatibility ( which for me is the only reason i open windows to be honest ) then Zorin will be the solution i have been waiting for.
I still dont really understand why rahmu and the others disliked it and called it as rahmu said
rahmu wroteIn many ways, this distro represents the evil in the Linux community.
But as for me, I am no linux user as i already said, my knowledge is extremely limited, so the simpler it is the better for me.
