  • PS3 Error 80710092 all night and today morning

Hi I would like to know if anyone has been getting the PS3 Error 80710092, i am an IDM ADSL 2M user on a GDS DSLAM. couldn't log on to play BF3 or ME3 :(
i'll play the role of captain obvious here:

Did you try resetting the modem ?

I remember i had a similar error, would occur every time i try opening a game, it would sign me out of PSN/SEN and give me that error.

Resetting the modem always worked for me
I reset the modem, but the funny thing is i was able to browse using the PS3 Browser but could not sign in to the PSN (SEN) network
IDM had a crappy night - i could not "sign in" into anything on pc, yet i could browze - tried a few different IPs, same crap. They must have had a technical issue.
I am having the same problem, i am an IDM subscriber too, there is something wrong from their end, it's been like that the last couple of weeks, you can browse the internet using the PS3's browser and everything seems to be fine, but you can't sign in.

Also if you noticed the NAT, when it's acting up like that, it will say NAT failed, sometimes it shifts from NAT 2 into NAT 3. I managed to sign in last night after several attempts, but i couldn't play online. It's currently back to normal. Remember that this is not the first time it happened, It's happening a lot recently and it has nothing to do with resetting your modem, i have no idea what's happening from IDM's end which is really annoying.
Even though it may be the modem or IDM's side, i'd also suggest if you turn off the ps3 front power button then power it on while holding it until you hear the double beep and continue with the process...

That does nothing but reset the display .
Used if you played on a tv that doesn't support full HD and switched to one that does.
IDM did have problems yesterday , and by coincidence it was the night they " upgraded " my area to 2mb.
I'll try in a bit

Yes I know mate, but as i said as a suggestion because it happened when i was at my friend's house who's subscribed to Terranet... I assumed he had a problem with the modem itself or Terranet and that step worked when multiple times. I mean it can help indirectly :p.
Here is a thread i opened to discuss the connecting errors we IDM users are having.

Yesterday, basically we were unable to connect to any HTTPS site or for authentication.
Issue is still on....
Can't connect to psn now.......
Good Morning, My issue was resolved this morning and i was able to sign in, but as said in previous posts this error and other errors have been coming up alot lately and all of them are related to not being able to sign in. based on what i understand:

-IDM have 2 links connected to Fiber and satellite it depends on which one they have you on
-plus there recent merge with Cyberia
-issues with the MOT upgrading their POPs to handle 10GE links to the Service providers
-the Current NATing and Shaping Polices placed on subscriber traffic
-the new decree by Ogero to allow unlimited nights on their DSLAMs
-the routing of traffic by the MOT between the Kadmus and IMEWE International links
-bad internal building cabling and Cabling to the Central Offices

all those add up to the errors on connections and bad latencies. you will never be able to pinpoint where the errors are originating from.

What?Whaaaaat?
I don't see anything that resembles a merge between the two companies. Where did you get that from?
I heard rumors that said that Cyberia will be part or is now part of the IDM group. they might be true or not, we will see.
This has nothing to do with the forum topic, I'm sure of it. The only hope would be to hard reset the router or reconfigure the router to default settings. The same happened to me a couple days ago, but when I returned all configurations to default, all came back to normal.
I myself had the nastiest error on psn which is 80028E06 whewre I am signed out each time I get to a game
had to make several phone calls so vispcan clear their cache
6 days later
Was that issue yesterday night as well ?
It kept signing me out.
ISP: IDM "Supposedly" 2MB.
