hello guys, so i created this topic to challenge all of you hardcore gamers, in this topic we will be picking hard to play games and see who can complete them, people who can complete challenged games will have their name promoted and the title of the game next to their name along with time to finish details, everyone can suggest a game

game suggestions and completion should be pm'ed to me instead of countless posts and i will add them to the list

THE RULES

1- do not make excuses about bad graphical games, graphics is out of the question, if you start playing a game, you shouldn't stop playing due to the bad graphics,if you think a game is bad due to its bad graphics then you should be ashamed to call yourself a gamer

2-you will not stop playing a game if you get bored, once you accept the challenge and start playing a game, do not chicken out halfway the game or you will have a chickened out tag

3- only pc and console games are permitted (no phone or handheld games allowed)

4-if you chicken out (see rule #1) your name will be tagged with "chickened out"

5-all games completed must be on hardest available difficulty or if it does not have a difficulty it must at least be a hard game

6-no cheating!!!

Do you mean by challenge online PvP or everyone posts score or time taken to finish the game?Anyway I suggest the game Limbo with no walkthrough
I am currently playing DA, i have the ultimate edition on PS3. Yes, it does include difficulty settings. I have played it on normal from the start on PS3 but after 35 hours, i got depressed because most of the time i die is due to the lag this game suffers on PS3.
The real challenge in RPGs would be the one and only Demon's Souls. I defeated the first boss in the game but after that i exchanged it for another game because i dont have time for such a game.
@achmed, no multiplayer, only singleplayer thats hard to play, time to play and score if available, as for limbo, its not that hard...
@kareem_nasser, is it truly that hard?
guys, only suggest games that you are sure other people can't complete the game or will have troubles completing it,not because you found a few levels hard
Yes it is! You can try out the spiritual successor Dark Souls, it is coming out on PC in August with some added extra content. All i can say it is a torturing game.
Dude, almost every game on the highest difficulty is near the impossible to complete. I prefer setting specific settings for some games with a limited time to achieve, and see who completes such challenges.

Note:It seems that some regional versions of Final Fantasy XIII and on specific consoles do have a difficulty setting. Final Fantasy XIII-2 does have to settings by default: Easy Mode and Normal Mode.
i guess that could work out , ill add such challenges also, but i need people to give me some feedback on those kinds of games
I suggest adding God Of War series, and some fighting games like the latest Mortal Kombat (9) and Marvel VS Capcom.

Increasing the difficulty to the highest in any fighting game will make it hard to pass by any fighter.
dark souls ...will make you rage and go psychotic (hardest game on Xbox 360) took me about 50 hours to get past the first few levels.. tried to play without using guides and wiki help it turns out its virtually impossible to play without online help,game is a nerve wrecker tr to play without online help and you will see what i mean :p

not impossible, but it just started taking too much time on each level so i got bored from trying too much, and its a really long game

This is nearly impossible:

Metal Gear Solid 2, is a game released for the PlayStation 2 back in 2001, and if people want to complain on how old it is, the visuals are still very tolerable, and even after 11 years it's still in my opinion one of the best games ever made, and there is a certain insanely difficult rank in this game know as the big boss rank and it's requirements:

Play the game through on Extreme Mode.
Rader must be turned off.
Don't kill ANYONE!
Don't use any rations.
You have to avoid discovery.
Don't use any special items. (eg. stealth)
You can only save your game EIGHT times.
And finally... you must do all of this within THREE HOURS!
