  • What is the longest playtime you have achieved?

For me its Battlefield 3 - 75 hours of gameplay!
but soon dark souls will pass it...

Whats the longest you have played a game? Say the name of the game too.
You should have specified more man,
Like Longest playtime in a game Overall,
Or just straight longest playtime hours that you spent on a game (in one day straight for example)

For the first one, Overall playtime, I have BF3 a playtime of 205 hours.
And for the straight playtime, We used to play Call Of Duty 2 PC (the best call of duty ever made) in the network, From lets say we started at 10PM till 8-9 AM the next day!! So approximately 10-11 hours straight xD

But its supposed to be Straight Hours of Gameplay While your sitting on the Chair in front of the PC/PS3..

32 hours ?! Come on, thats so difficult! You MUST have went for a break in that timeline,
Eating Break,Bathroom Break, Beating your brothers or your friends next to you because your loosing break!

In my case, those 11 straight hours, the whole time, our Butts were attached to the chairs ! Never left ! :p

Game-play hours total?

definitely dragon quest VIII journey of the cursed king ... with 4600 hours of game-play on the PS2 ... a couple hundreds more on the PC emulator ... yeah if this game was a real woman you wouldn't have a chance ladies ... I just adore it.

Final fantasy XII also on the PS2 ... with the longest play-through reaching 1500 hours ( that said, i made around 5-6 play-through )

Longest hours straight spent on a single game ?

from 6 A.M till 3 PM the next day ... around 39 hours ... after which i dropped half dead on the keyboard ... and it was Pokemon Crystal on a PC emulator ... That morning i had began the story, and finished the Pokemon league in one sitting ( Pokemon fans will know what the hell i am talking about )
... I had brevet exams .. you cant blame me ..
dota 2 ....222 hours.
6 straight hours playing dota on lan with my friends!

8 hours straight of diablo 2 years ago without going to the bathroom,not eating and nor drinking, as for longest playtime overall, no idea, if diablo 2 hours were counted, it would surpass 2,000 hours, that im sure of it
diablo 2 been playing it for almost 6 years now. (you do the math :P)
and the longest I have ever played it was about 18 hours straight!

I deleted the game (no longer works they've been shut down)

But it was like 29 days worth of gameplay if i recall correctly

I also have 11 days on the PS3

So that's like 40 days .. around 960 hours

Pokemon Diamond comes in at a modest 250 hours, followed by Pokemon Crystal at 120 hours.
For the longest gameplay overall, I think it's pokemon silver on the gameboy color: around 480 hours!

For the straight gameplay, it's gotta be battlefield 3 from 8 AM till 3 AM :P but the best time was dota after my bac blanc: we went to the network from 4 PM till 2 AM and ended up paying 28 000 :P
Well i meant this for Overall but gameplay straight i played borderlands with my friend coop for 9 hours STRAIGHT! we finished the game and then finished half of new game +
Ended up finishing new game + and almost finishing new game++ the next day.

By the way i didnt play BF3 for 75 hours straight it was overall, i really hope that noone has played a game for that long without actually stopping... it would be really smelly!

Considering what i've taken in Pathophysiology, he most likely experienced a blood clot in his legs (deep vein thrombosis), that embolized (moved) to his lungs - that's an "insta-kill" / sudden death situation, it happens if one does not not breaks everyone in a while from sitting down.

This is actually a very serious thing, if anyone wishes to sit for long hours, make sure you take breaks to just stand up and walk every once in a while.
For me I played call of duty 4 for about 400 hours overall, and 6 hours straight playing dota with my friends (az09za90za is my friend)
Mgs1 on ps1 11-12 straight hours finished it watching all cutscenes and without saving the game.
I actually finished this game 2 times to see both endings and a third time without saving as a single run.

Let me see, from when I was age 11 till now hmm that would be 45,990 Hours of total game play :) longest stretch would be 16 hours straight of Starcraft Brood Wars multiplayer (Zerg Rushing most of the time :P)
