vegetaleb wroteThey are banned under the jewish excuse because syrian factories of jeans wanted to sell their own in Lebanon right after the big war.
Levis was and still is the n1 jeans worldwide and that cause threats to lebanese-syrians mafias
vegetaleb wroteAnd it makes sense that 3/4 of clothes brands in Lebanon have factories in Israel or have jewish managers and are not banned?
Why this particular attack against Levis?
Why this ban was made right after the syrian begun their occupation?
Now your 2 comments are both opposing each other. You first said that Levi's was banned under the jewish excuse so that the Syrian factories of jeans sell more... Then you said that 3/4 of clothes brands in Lebanon are based on Israeli/Jewish companies. This doesn't make sense, So el Assad regime insisted on banning this specific company called Levi's and neglected all the others ?
I don't have an idea why Levi's is banned here and still i don't care if they allow it or not. Also if Syrians were responsible for the ban, still i won't care as they were at war and they are still at war against an ENEMY.
For example, imagine there's a war between two countries X and Y. Would you except X to continue their economic exchange with Y and the opposite ? At least in Syria, they produce their own products. Look at us, meh some Chips and Chocolate ?
