The point I was getting at was in the end its a Single Player game, and though i did not play too much of diablo 2i it you could just play it and get yourself up and running, here it all comes to gold farming and thats the part which put me off from wow, the endless grind of things, you must till x mobs and they will drop for you a y who will take to Z and than you can go kill x1 and he will drop y1 and you get Z1. Maybe i have outgrown that phase now or real life has made me too impatient, zheavy wrotei have to disagree with that, i used to see things the same way as u did, but if u filter the AH decently, u can find ridiculously good items at less then 20k which is how i got through when the gear was just plain bad. I just got my level 60 and was at act4 hell, i didn't go on. At the moment, i'm just farming gold so i would buy my stuff off the AH, i didn't even like the AH at first, but considering the huge amount of players around, getting decent items should be extremely rare or else the whole point of the AH is useless and everyone would go through the game easily and i'm guessing they want to make it hardest possible. It is frustrating, not saying that it's not, i'm getting barb stats on bow and dex on swords, so i share the pain, i haven't gotten 1 item yet so far in the game that made me over 10k on the AH, and what a huge mistake i did by leveling the BS, the price of each item is ridiculous and pointless with this RNG system and this is something that i think should be looked at.d3ad wroteI agree with you completely on your review, although I have only been playing as a DH and have not reached Inferno yet, but I can relate to you on almost all the points you made, For me personally the gear drop must allow you to upgrade yourself, for my luck I have not found more than 2-3 pcs of gear that were actually an upgrade for, had to buy everything from AH to survive Nightmare mode and now in Hell.xterm wroteEndgame Review
.
The RNG is just ridiculous, and now the prices on AH are worst :)
P.S: if you want to sell some old gear pcs of your DH level 50+ let me know you Buyout before you try ah :)
everyone is complaining about bugs, OF COURSE IT HAS BUGS, wait for patches! starcraft 2 had bugs too! so did every other game released on this planet! you couldn't talk when you were born could you ?DG wroteI have an in-game problem.
I invite a friend and it says "has joined the party" but I still cannot see this friend on the map .. and I cannot see his icon to the left of the screen.
I press "resume game"... then my friend tries to do the same and he gets "only available to leader". Is this game so bugged that it was not even worth buying ?
you have to excuse the toneless online comments,i apologize i never did mean to have a bad tone, the actual problem is on the servers, not the game, they couldn't test the servers on load i guess, idk, but i think people are overreacting about it, thats what i think anyway, take it for what it isDG wroteThere are acceptable bugs ... and huge bugs that should not go undetected before a game is released... such as not being able to play with a friend online ! We are talking about a company like Blizzard here... not some new development firm.
That's an ONLINE game and so this feature should have been on top of the testing priority list. If you can't play it with a friend... might as well not play it as they didn't include the "LAN game option.
Just as I was having this problem yesterday... 3 people posted about the same thing on "General" chat. Clearly I am not the only one affected by it.
Moreover, I don't understand the tone in your reply or the useless comparison between a new born human being and newly released software.
It's not like my post was nasty or it broke the rules to warrant such a reply. So, next time, I suggest you abstain from replying if you have nothing interesting to say.
It's like a free trial, and only people who bought the game can offer them for now, as they mentioned free trial won't be available on battle.net for the first month, so you can receive a guest pass from any person who bought the game.
