First thing, sorry for editing my post above yours, I did so before I saw that you wrote an answer.

Just boycott the game if you don't like it. People in this thread have already made a decision to buy the game. You're giving these arguments in the wrong place.

In one way, I agree with what you are saying about the game. In the other, I despise the way you present it. You don't sound constructive at all, instead, it sounds like you're trying to put flames everywhere, just like most reddit posts on /r/diablo recently.
I'm having way too much lag in the game lately, i've been barely playing it because of this, my latency is decently at 100-200ms and i'm happy with that, but it always goes bad after awhile, i just exit after playing for 10mins okay and then my latency wouldn't go below 600ms, i tried rr'ing pc/modem, i asked friends online if they had problems but it was only me and it's been this case for awhile, i've tested my internet and it's fine, this is happening only with diablo3, i'm using terranet 2mb/s package if this would help.

And for your question, yes it will work smoothly on any connection, it's like any online game.

Diablo 3 servers are shaky at the moment if you're playing on EU and between 21:00 and 00:00.

Otherwise, 1mbps is more than enough.

any ideas how much the CE of diablo will cost @ virgin? because its selling at 200$ on ebay..i dont want to pay 400$ at virgin for a copy lol

As previoulsy said by other posters, even my EU friends tell me , the servers are on very heavy load btw 20:00 - 24:00 euro time.

About terranet:
If you called the useless support , they modt probably told you it was from ogero that is their usual M.O.
Now things you should know :p
Terranet works in a very weird way, for the last 5 years using their terasmart system:
During winter the ping is 250ish but stable in the evening, unplayable past midnight
In summer the ping is lower BUT the connexion from 20:00 on is unstable.

If you would ping google.com for instance for 1000 pings (-t)
You would a constantly varying ping between 80ms and 300 ms and many dropped packets ( i have a dropped packet every 20-40pings)

Every "dropped packet" contributes to you being out of sync ( if i may say) from the server which lead to you being dropped/dced.
This is how it was explained to me at least :D

If disblo3 connects to the same servers or the same way as starcraft2 , then what you have been experiencing is what i ve been dealing with since starcraft2 came out.
One might ask why am i still using terranet ...... Any other piece a trash ISP offering Online payments with credit/debit cards in lebanon??
