m-sabra i don't know how these guys (the hackers) secure themselves but i think it's really hard to find them, let's take an example,on my PC i have a german IP in Saarbucken that's without even connecting to any VPN or proxy, then i connect to a US based VPN,then to a Latvian proxy.so you gonna trace me back from latvia to the us then to germany then to lebanon, and am not even hacking government website (or any website),and i could add more layers (Tor for example).all that i want to point at is that they actually CAN secure themselves.
Raficoo exactly! or to summarize in other words: I doubt anyone with a bit of Logic will hack any government sites without Proxies and/or VPNs
Padre Raficoo wroteI doubt anyone with a bit of Logic will hack any government sites without Proxies and/or VPNs i did and im still here :)

ryv Thanks Samer for re-opening this thread. So, this post was closed for some time, and the entire story was forgotten, but hey, news flash, and a small update. We're still here. :-) This post came to our attention today so.. I wonder how the investigation went, I mean, there were claims that those hackers were identified and reported? If one thing we hate most in Lebanon, It's mendacity and lies, but seems like everyone is doing it these days in attempts to make the gold. I hope this was a good investment of my time to make things clear to some and again thanks Samer. And a final message to every lebgeek out there, knowing it's the only community with brains, hope one day this case becomes more of a concern to you, after all: Shit is on all of us.
