  • Looking for a high quality knife store

Hi All,
This is a bit off topic but I would like to know if any of you knows about stores in lebanon that has high quality knifes in lebanon (Preferably Beirut) and not the chinese ones
You want chef knives for mass food making, or just regular kitchen ones?
Oh I should have been said a bit more in the description, I am looking for folding knifes for hunting and daily use and not cooking or stuff like that
Nothing yet, but I plan on going on fishing and bird hunting trips, although I don't want it just to be for those 2 things. I am loving the Benchmade and Zero Tolerance knifes abroad but I have no idea about the importing rules of such knives here in Lebanon. Anybody around here knows about those rules and if it would be safe to get them?
I buy alot of stuff from the US and specially Flashlights. I LOVE FLASHLIGHTS

I can order stuff for you from Amazon.com if you like. Anything specific on mind? Here's the site that is soon to be active.

I dont have a problem ordering stuff, my only concern is customs in lebanon to see if they allow knives through
No, customs don't allow it for regular people. You have to be a registered merchant. Weapons, medicine, mobiles, religious stuff, and unknown items can only be ordered via merchants. Sometimes they look the other way, but usually they're not allowed. Not sure why, but that's the way it is.
Would your store be able to get them then ? or you would also need a special license?

I just check your website and i got a quick tip for you for SEO

instead of using
http://www.961store.com/cart.php?target=cart

you can use htaccess and add lines that will redirect
http://www.961store.com/cart to your specific file and u can even send the get as well...
RewriteRule ^cart$ cart.php?target=cart [L,QSA]
RewriteRule ^cart/$ cart.php?target=cart [L,QSA]
second note about the website
You are using boot strapping technique to render the page...
I think you need to watch out for an injection their, if my memory serves me well
they can do something like target="../../../publichtml/" and do some melicious stuff, you might want to do some research on that... since i only skimmed over it once

nice website ^_^ and good luck
@Jalal20, link me to what you need, I'll let you know if I am permitted to order it or not.

@Rtp, I didn't build the store, I only tested the script and tweaked it a bit. It passed injection attempts. Be my guest if you like, give it a try, let me know how tough it is, and thanks for the heads up!

hey man i did some testing and it looks decent... did some XSS and stuff and everything seems fine :)

so my only tip is to fix the url...and make it optimized for search engine... u can do that easily by applying and expanding the code i sent you.... if you have any questions i can help out...
Thanks for your concerns, Rtp. I'll look into it :)
If i remember correctly there was a shop called kamikaze in dora.

Used to have all sorts of sports equipments including the "exotic" ones as katana, ninjakin, sais, nunchaku, etc...

I think you might find what you want there.

And there's also Joson's he has a good collection of hunting knives in general, however i'm not sure about the country of origin.
Thanks I will look into kamikaze, I want to visit josons and also there is a store next to it I was told might have what i want. Still its a bad thing we don't have quality stuff any more in this country

I am reviving an old topic here, but I've got a camp coming up and wanted to get a high quality knife, preferably an M9 Bayonet. I don't know if I am overshooting my hopes with this knife, but I am willing to spend some money on a local shop having some nice items. I live in Baabda and have access to anything from my house up to Keserwan, including Beirut Jounieh and what not. Thanks in advance.
Thank you very much man! Will check it out today and reply.
