Abbabbj My relative will get back to Lebanon from KSA I asked him to get me a notebook from there the whole offer costs 1150$ the laptop alone would cost 1060$ is it a good deal or not?
AvoK95 Seems OK for an ultra book. But do mind that they run very hot and don't have that much performance that you expect. For 1150 I suggest getting a higher end regular notebook. But if you really want an ultra book get an ASUS Zenbook UX31E-DH52 from ROG. it's 200$ more but at least you'll have an official Asus warranty.The CPU is a little bit faster as well. I recommend Asus because Toshiba ultra books aren't that good in quality.
Abbabbj Thanks Avo, I have considered before the Asus zenbook but I think 1150$ for me is by far expensive for a laptop and paying 200$ more is not a choice I wanted to get a higher end regular notebook but choices aren't a lot the reason why I want an Ultra book is that of its size. weight, battery long life, and high performance maybe durability too that I wouldn't find in a regular laptop
Beej I suggest waiting for the new ivy-bridge ultra books with gt 640 (kepler) in them. They will be about what you pay +-, but you will have faster everything and even longer battery. The deal is "ok" i guess, but you can get a much cheaper netop or something, since with these specs you cant do anything but little work/surf/microsoft suit. In anycase, the ssd inside this laptop will make your life much much easier.
