I was wondering about the maximum price I could fetch for a used xbox 360 I've got and which has been collecting dust. Details are as follows:
- Barely used - I'd say turned on around 10 to 15 times since it was bought.
- Original, un-modded
- Elite 120 GB HDD
- MFR date: 2009-10-10

Well, Duckster, even if it's sealed (which is not the case), it cannot be sold as a brand new, as you can not offer warranty on it. It could go for 250$ in Lebanon's market. (Costs 250$ brand new in the US).

Nabs: sure, I agree. I never said I'm planning on selling it at the same price I got it for.
The-MMMs: many thanks. I noticed in other topics that the MFR date was important. Can you shed some light as to why it is the case? does it determine if the box can be modded or not?
On a side note: I'm willing to also provide an 'original' CoD MW2 game I bought back then too.
Anyone interested in a quick sale, kindly let me know.

MFR date has nothing to do with Modding aspect
It's more of which motherboard revision it is
With 2009, you can expect one of the Jasper revisions; the best, those motherboards don't have much of a tendancy to bend under great heat

You should definitely ask at least 250$ now you mentioned the game and a controller
My advice is to advertise this on facebook pages about lebanese gaming (ps3 games exchange and fan clubs); elmazad is a good option as well.
i would have definitely considered it if my xbox was showing signs of death (im completely fine with the paying aspect), but i think my falcon revision (MFR Late 2008) is running/will be running hopefully for a long long time so i would really have no use for it other than Xbox Live; and i wont be worth the investment for JUST that ! (my xbox is banned on Xbox Live)

I forgot to mention it also comes with a headset (the default one that comes with every xbox I presume).
I have another original game I got at the same time as MW2 and which I'll throw in the bunch as well. It's not popular so I'm not sure it matters. It's called 'Fracture'.

i'm interested in buying this xbox, but i'm no expert when it comes to xbox hence i want to ask if all of them are the same and wether the one offered by duckster can run new games such as forza 4 after updating the firmware.
