My brother is with Connect and, at least, they had the decency to send the following SMS: "Dear client, a problem occured on the Lebanese International fiber optics cable. As a result, Ogero and all legal ISPs are affected. Maintenance is being performed".

No estimate as to when the service will be back to normal. That explains it.
And yes it is definitely a routing thing. Coz every time they switch us to the backup link I lose connectivity for about 20 secs and I get disconnected from WoW. As soon as the connection is back I notice ping has doubled (can't expect ping on the backup link to be as good as the main fiber optics cable).
Mine dropped back to 60 MS for about 2 hours and then it went back up to around 120-130.

At least some isp had the decency to tell us what's going on. Ogero didn't even tell me there was an issue at all.
well its all good now everything back to normal.
Mines still messed up as well.

It came back for a bit earlier but went to shit again. Guess they're fixing it. And we wait!

lebanese gamers are heavily dependent on reflexes .. we make up between 60-100ms lag with good reflexes (even more if you take internet before 2006 with WOW players) i am always amazed on how far we could get if we had better internet specially at youtube channels .. i believe that we are able to succeed with something similar to pewdiepie in an arabic/english state.
So any updates on this? Still doubled pings for me...
2 days with no cs go is torture for me
Doubled pings here also.
Gonna share a quick solution that I discovered for the actual doubled pings.
First of all, Ogero has 3 DHCP Servers. 77.42.129.81
77.42.129.79, both of these Gateways are lagging a lot
But there is a last one 172.30.1.14 that you will get a low ping always. I get 43ms to 8.8.8.8 here
1 <1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 10.10.10.1
2 7 ms 6 ms 7 ms 172.30.1.14
3 6 ms 6 ms 6 ms 172.30.1.1
4 7 ms 6 ms 7 ms 77.42.129.20
5 6 ms 6 ms 6 ms 192.168.111.2
6 43 ms 43 ms 43 ms 80.231.200.45
7 43 ms 43 ms 44 ms 80.231.217.1
8 44 ms 43 ms 44 ms 72.14.204.63
9 44 ms 43 ms 44 ms 209.85.244.254
10 43 ms 43 ms 43 ms 8.8.8.8

So the temporary solution now is = Restart your PPPoE Connection until you get an ip starting with 172..... =D (check the router page to see this IP and not on websites in the internet)
does this work for cyberia's slaves? I mean customers..

If you manage to see, your ping decreased around 50-70ms, 80.231..... is outside lebanon if im not mistaken, 192.168.101.2 is local. As you could see 172..... gave you better pings, Re-do the test but this time disconnect all devices from the internet

I understand but that just doesn't make sense. How come from the same local server to the same destination server, the ping fluctuates that much ?
Pings are back to normal here. 60-70ms in Battlefield.
Ping are still high, AVOlio probably you got the range I was talking about few posts above. Thats why low ping
