I think my router needs an update I'll report back when I get it to ogero and see what's the problem.
Anyone know what those 'cabinets' look like--I was driving by an area I don't usually pass by and they had this building--maybe 4x4 or 5x5 painted gray with an Ogero logo on the building. It looked like it was made out of wood too, although I could be mistaken on that part.
Anybody knows what are the recent default router username and password? When I moved to Ogero I gave them my router and they reset it and set the credentials as they wanted. admin admin or user user didn't work, the wifi password didn't work, the Lnumber or LXXXXXX@ogeronet-2M.com or whXXXXXX (date of internet setup or when I gave them the router) also didn't work.

Call them

They require you to call from home and I'm not home during their working hours but I'll find a way eventually.
Edit: Called them at 9pm they were still available, I almost guessed it, it's admin and whXXXXXX (XXXXXX=mmddyy of modem delivery to ogero in my case)

It gets worse at night right? If that's the case then I have been having the same issue.
Hi guys, I have the unlimited 2mbps ogero offer and my ping has always been high at all times even though nothing but my laptop is running and there are no background apps running on it, I get minimum 130 ping but it's very unstable and all of my games are unplayable, any help would be appreciated.

test it on a cable
By testing it on a cable you mean connecting an Ethernet port form the router to my laptop? I might try it thank you for the idea
yea because you might have some interference and before you do any big step you should rule out your side of the problem.
in case of interference jitter will be high...
Back to the problems ? I just had a dead connection (lots of ping timeout) for about 2 mins.

Are you complaining for 2 minutes of problems!
I am not complaining. Just used to a constantly stable connection most of the time.
The fiber optics from ogero is not good. As I mentioned previously we use it at work for SSH, but it keeps breaking socket connections, sometimes several times per one minute!
Translation: Had I been playing an online game I would have been disconnected several times during the same game.
Horrible support they have, someone from Ogero came and tested my telephone line and told me all is good. I showed him my speeds and he said maybe it's the router and he left, nothing more. Called Ogero back they told me it's not the router but the telephone line itself. This is hilarious.
So I just tried connecting through ethernet but I'm getting the same results; ping is still high and inconsistent, should I contact Ogero or try tinkering with the router's settings whose username and password I don't know....

Sorry, but breaking ssh connections it is 99% problem from your side, most probably nat misconfiguration.
To break SSH outage should last more than ~1 minute.
Well I have no control over any configuration. And the entire office has the problem. And I believe you are right, it is suspiciously abrupt when it disconnects without warning "broken pipe"
