Looking for an LCD inverter board "PI-SB03"

Good day all,

My friend owns a Viewsonic LCD screen which was destroyed by a mistake from EDL (400V input power).

The inverter board is used on many models and it's labelled as follows:

2007/03/14 (date doesn't matter)
PI-SB03
REV: D
Digital Decade Ltd.
P/N: blm1700p60210-2

Other Details: The inverter board has a 400V capacitor which actually leaked and shorted after the disaster. I replaced it along with a fuse and a MOSFET but to no avail. It seems that it needs a PWM controller which we are not likely to get from anywhere (link to datasheet: http://www.fairchildsemi.com/ds/SG/SG5841.pdf ).

If you could find anything similar, please let me know.

Actually, the PWM controller is found at Katranji (http://www.ekt2.com/ekt/prodView.asp?idproduct=254916).

If replacing the chip doesn't work, you can try finding an alternative power board with the same specifications at Katranji (unfortunately, the specifications of the available power boards are not detailed on the website, so you have to ask the salesman about them).

It's unbelievable! It's the same one already on the PCB! I will see what I can do about it and get back to you.
