Fischer I've seen many companies in lebanon, they all demand knowledge in .net framework. I like python/django php and nowadays I'm learning ruby on rails, so is there any company that demands python and django in lebanon?
samer As Sami mentioned above, both Monaqast and Naharnet are using Rails. I think ArabNet are using Django on their website, I'm not if they're recruiting though.
cnicolaou @someone indeed as the guys previously mentioned, Monaqasat and Naharnet are hiring and training software developers. For more info on the type of jobs and requirements please check http://jobs.beirutrb.org
m0ei So any news about which companies demands Django ? I'm going to contact Monaqasat, but it seems they require RoR.
Fischer well i have received a job offer from a user around here, (i'm not saying his name, he might want to keep it a secret) is working for a company that is creating a django project, he offered me a full time job there, the project seems really cool but i can't i haven't accepted the job yet coz i'm still a computer science student and i want to see what to do with my courses and so on... it's a long story :) right now i'm creating my own projects, i might be interested if someone want to hire me for a django website development during the summer. But in fall i might apply for that django project (if they still want me, i might apply next week, who knows, i'm still thinking about it) it's so hard to make it as a python guy in lebanon, by the way i not bad ror, but i'm not applying for a ror job, there's so much i hate about the framework itself... and the ror developers i know, they think that they are better than every one else...
