  • need a liquid that hardens in transparent form

i need a liquid that i can pour into a square box, and put an item of my choice in it, then let the liquid harden/crystallize but remain transparent so i can see whats inside, glass is not an option because it requires very high heat and too much work

i need around 200 ml of it, if i have to combine some ingredients into water, i have no problem

i think its called silicone filling?
any ideas?
Wax might work. I had a keychain with a buy inside. It was made of wax and wrapped with metal around the edges. Wouldn't get as transparent as glass, but still pretty transparent.
can you at least see whats in it clearly? doesn't wax get easily damaged?
You want a permanent thing? If so, you'll have to go for something more commercial like crystal wax. It doesn't get easily damaged and is easy to handle, but costs quite a lot. What exactly do you have on mind, if I may ask?
i got an old amd processor for free, its dead, i don't wanna waste it as its antique, i want to crystallize it and put it somewhere in the house for me to see
Ah, well, you can put it in a glass box. You don't do it yourself, they do it for you.
i thought of that, but i don't know any place that does it, do you ? i hope its not expensive
Ice?
Otherwise I'd think clear epoxy but it will probably have some bubbles. Much less if you are very careful, but you'll still most probably end up with some. And it's ugly yellow-ish anyway.
Maybe some kind of plastic....
or silicone? i don't want it to get distorted though
transparent modeling resine..a liter costs about 30 $ ..check for it online
